John Curtin Gallery The GET smART Auction is only a couple of weeks away. Pre-registration and bidding forms are now available online at www.johncurtingallery.curtin.edu.au or by phoning 9266 4155. Plus, due to an overwhelming response from artists, a number of works are being offered for silent auction. If you haven't yet seen the works ...on show, visit the Gallery Monday to Friday 12pm - 5pm. We will also be open 10am - 4pm next Sunday 8 August as part of Curtin Open Day.

John Curtin Gallery Congratulations to Perth Photographer Max Pam who has won a major international prize for his book Atlas Monographs. It won Best Photography Book Prize (Interenational Category) at the PhotoEspana International Festival of Photography and Visual Arts in Madrid. His award winning entry beat 400 other contenders in the p...restigious competition, dubbed the Booker Prize of Photography. A Max Pam work currently features in the Gallery's GET smART exhibition, on now until 13 August.

artists practicing today. The artists, who work from a diverse range of art
practices, include Tracey Moffatt, Bill Viola, Robert Juniper, Pip Drysdale,
Brian Blanchflow...er, Cathy Blanchflower and Nalda Searles. This is a great opportunity to see them

The John Curtin Gallery is now closed but will re-open Friday 11 June with GET smART, an exciting exhibition featuring new and recent works by select international, national and
local artists who have participated in the Gallery’s exhibition program since
its inception in 1998. Artists include Pippin Drysdale, Tracey Mof...fatt, Bill
Viola, Robert Juniper, Philip Gamblen. The exhibited work will be auctioned at a closing event on 13
August to support the future development of the Gallery’s exhibition program.
