Today on the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, initiated by the Einstein Foundation Berlin. Nico and the Navigators haben sich seit ihren Anfängen in den Sophiensälen vor 15 Jahren zu einem führenden interdisziplinären freien Ensemble entwickelt. Ihre neue Arbeit "Anaesthesia" könnte nicht besser in die programmatische Linie des RADIALSYSTEM V passen: Zusammen mit der österreichischen Musicbanda Franui widmen... sie sich in ihrer zweiten gemeinsamen Produktion dem monumentalen Opern- und Oratorienwerk Georg Friedrich Händels und entwerfen dabei ihre eigene barocke Fantasie: Anaesthesia ist ein Musik- und Bildertheater, das zwischen rauschhaft-betäubender Opulenz und apollinischer Klarheit oszilliert, zwischen den düsteren und wilden Leidenschaften und den Stil prägenden strengen Gesetzmäßigkeiten jener Zeit. Mit Blick aus dem 21. Jahrhundert entdecken die Navigators als singende und tanzende Ganzkörperpoeten das Zeitalter des Barock für sich.

The concept of dialogue plays a key role at RADIALSYSTEM V as well.
