Cecia Zoe-Martin 8 more day till election. Please be very careful who you vote for. I don't want to see what happened for the last 4 years. Our leaders did not work together. All they did is fought each other, took each other to court, spending money on court when it wasn't neccessary, did very little for the communities. Spend a lot o...f money on travel all over south when most of the meetings could be held in our communities. I want a well educate person who can really do all the paperwork such as developing policy that well fit our way, plan strategies to meet the need of people, have the sportsplex for the youth. built youth centre. manage our communities. Help improve the social problems we have. So I vote for Bertha. I know she has done a lot for the poeple and has comment so many years to the Tlicho people for this I honour her. This is not a game. Think long and hard.

Every leadership has a history and a past to go with it. For how many years, things have never been improved in Rae. We are seeing the same thing over and over. Nothing has been accomplished. So, what makes you a better chief than the rest of them. Sure, you went to school, had experience, had your ups and downs as any... student would. You spent how many years in school to become a lawyer and you backing out of tlicho governmnet. You were hired by whom. And your job is to protect people and I am also curious, who is running the tlicho government or should I say who is in charge.
Bertha, you talk about who you are and what you have done. These are all in the past and the past failed. We are in 2009 and what did our leadership did so far. Fill me in would be nice. And remember I don't live on rumors and I don't judged people, I just speak my mind and how I feel.

Some reasons why I support Bertha...
Tlicho Government & Community Government issues are very challenging and complex, therefore Education is very crucial and a great tool needed by our leaders to ensure important and critical issues are discussed, and that tough decisions are made to achieve good governance for our peo...ple. Most of the important decisions are negotiated in the boardrooms with other officials, whether with other Territorial, Federal, Aboriginal or Global governments or industry, this is where education and strong leadership is needed to ensure we get proper program funding and that our culture, language, way of life, waters, wildlife and environment are protected. The Band and Hamlet Council days are long gone. I believe Culture, Language and way of life is also very important, most of these could be delegated to our elder professors, K'awos and community people that would like to get involved. We already have great people working in our language departments.
