Bethany Christian Services For only $25-$80 you can help send a child to school through our new Gift Catalog! Many children within the Roma community, in Albania, are unable to attend school because their parents cannot afford the necessary supplies. Help with the cost of schooling by providing for one child or check out some of the other items in our Gift Catalog.

In 2008, Bethany began a foster care program with the Luohe City Orphanage, in east-central China. The program helps to identify and train Chinese foster parents who want to take these special children into their homes, care for them, love them, and help them learn to love. The primary objective of the program is to pr...ovide each child with a family of his/her own until such time as permanency, preferably in an adoptive home, can be achieved. Learn more about this project and how you can help.Read More

What an amazing story. It remiinds me of the Sundanese students we have at the Seminary. They all hae stories like this. They are amazing young men and women. They are in Africa right now doing their internships. First time they've been back since they were little children. Can't wait to have them come "home" to hear how God has worked in and through them.

Bethany has begun a new community and faith-based program in Ethiopia to strengthen families by empowering parents to care for their children and ensure that children are fed and attend school. Along with Bethany's existing community-based projects, this project will have served more than 1,600 children in 2009 by allo...wing them to remain with their biological parents rather than be sent to an orphanage. This program is possible through a World Learning grant from USAID. To learn more about other projects in Ethiopia visit our website.Read More
