Laps for Literacy is a fundraising event, which has been held for the past four years to support this goal. Laps for Literacy provides children with an opportunity to be read to, for families to purchase books and for our community to give the gift of reading through the donation of new or ‘gently loved’ books, or a f...inancial contribution.
Come out with your family and enjoy Story Time with local Celebrity Readers, Music performed by Dave Frey, Autumn crafts for the children to make, lunch items and most of all, BOOKS!
You may bring your NEW or gently ‘loved’ books to donate to the Mom/Baby programs of the VNA of St. Luke’s. USBorne Books and Books are FUN will be on site to sell new books that you can purchase to take home or donate. This will be an afternoon of literacy, family and fun!
