Delia Shepherd we keep on seeing bevs happy smiling face on the picture but how can she go on smiling when her territory has one of the worst animal welfare track records in the world- ie the dog gassing- so far i have not seen any signs of action against it- we will have to make it a public mass campaign internationally to pressure her into doing something soon...

Gov. Perdue, I am a teacher. I just want you to know that everytime a new "initative" is made manditory, teachers are pulled away from time they could be spending writing lessons, tutoring, or improving the current curriculum. We are overworked and underpaid, and we are getting burned out! I am originally from anoth...er state...my out-of-state collegues have all made metion of the fact that we have NEVER seen this amount of testing ANYWHERE! When is it going to end? Every time there is a "benchmark" we waste valuable teaching time...when we get the results, we have to "remediate"...setting us even further behind. And, please consider the amount of money that is WASTED printing and scoring all these tests.Read More

Tracey Lia Farrell A culture should be judged by the way they treat their animals. Shame on you for belonging to a state that STILL ALLOWS GASSING of animals. Make a difference and do something about this. Spaying and neutering legislation would be much more beneficial and humane euthanasia when necessary.
