BTW: What is the best way to clean my Moka? Most of the "cleaners" are acidic. That, plus aluminum is probably not good.

Hi Roger,

In terms of “cleaning after use” we mainly simply rinse our aluminum makers with water and might use a soft sponge. Once every few months, we use a 50/50 Water-Vinegar solution that we basically fill in the boiler and make a brew with it (without any espresso grounds of course). The Water/Vinegar solution helps a little bit loosing any residues that are in the boiler and also cleans the tube from the inside. Just make sure to rinse it thoroughly with water after you done with this.

We also recently got some new natural cleaning pads from “Goodbye Detergent” that are made from walnut shells, peach pits, etc. They actually clean pretty good without the use of any detergent and there is one pad that is especially for aluminum. Hi Alessandra. Thank you for your post. It depends on how old your Musa is. The handle of the newer models (about the last 3-5 years) are screwed on and the older models are welded to the body. If it is a newer model, you should see a screw right underneath the handle where it is attached to the makers body. In this case you would simply fasten the screw using a screw driver. Hope this helps and I hope you will be able to continue your Musa for a long time.

Hi Jean-Marie. Welcome and thanks for your post. The spice line is great but is sort of “flying under the radar... Read More” here in the US so far. I am not quite sure why this is since the quality and design of the line is really very nice. Most of our customers that start with one pan usually complete their set since they like it a lot. The line is part of Bialetti’s XP (Extra Professional) series and is equipped with Bialetti’s Hi-Base system for better and even head conduction. Just perfect for healthy low fat cooking. There is a 8”, 10.25”, 12” as well as a 11” stir fry pan available so you should be able to add some pieces to your existing pan. Thanks a lot and have fun cooking,

Yes.. I have tried all of them. The high end $3k ones and everything in between. Sometimes Simple is Better and you can do more with less.

Hi Roger. Thanks for your comment and I absolutely agree. Many of our customers go through a few larger machines and finally end up using their stovetop model. They are just simple to use, work very well and are also extremely durable.
