REVELATION, MAINLY BECAUSE AS A YOUNG CHRISTIAN THERE WAS NOT MUCH DISCUSSION ON THIS PARTICULAR BOOK. IT WAS PUT IN MY MIND THAT IT WAS REFFERENCING THE END TIME.

Leviticus: It is very tedious reading about all the laws and rules pertaining to people's very personal things. Some of it, I even find a bit embarrassing. But it must be included in the Bible for a reason . . .

If you can't understand Revelation, try reading a book called The Great Controversy written a long time ago. The book of Revelation should be studied with the book of Daniel in the Old Testament. Comparable prophecies... :)

The long prophecy books are the hardest for me to read. I've read through the Old & New Testaments together over 40 times. My favorite times are when I can sit and read through them in a few weeks. My least favorite is when it takes me a year or more to read through the Bible.

I love Revelation!! Scary in places, exciting in others! When tackling that book, I pray that the Lord through His Spirit would give me a deeper burden for those who dont know Him. How many do we know that are trying to substitute the void in their hearts (that only God can fill) with temporary pleasures that only end in depression and despair? ... See MoreEveryone needs the Lord Jesus, they just don’t know it! May that be the prayer of our hearts: to witness for Christ, plant seeds, and be a positive testimony for those who are lost!

Revelation, because it requires some very strong teaching from someone who really understands the Bible. There are not that many preachers (I don't care what denomination) who can really teach Revelation. Unfortunately!!!

I recommend the book of revelations as a great book to every born again child of God. Contains great scriptures as 'they overcome him by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimonies...'. It gives you the assurance that it is while we are alive on this earth that we have the opportunity to be adopted into God's family and that's the best ... See Moreway to begin and end life. It explains why suicide is not an option for death and hell will give up the dead in them for judgement while death and hell will be thrown into the lake of fire. In short - JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY!

Matthew 25:35-40 because when all is set and done it all comes out to this; that this is how we are going to be judged at.

One of the most powerful sections of the Book of revelation is where our Lord reveals His "bema seat jugment" of all believers. I mediate on this because it will happen and I will give an account for what I have done and how I have made use of the talents and gifts that God has given me in worshiping and leading others to Christ. I want to hear "... See Morewell done" and, although there will be things that I am ashamed of and cry about, I know that God Himself will wipe away all tears. I think about this to prompt me to action because Faith without works is dead faith.

@ Gloria, dont give up! Haha. Sorry, my grampa was a pastor and an excellent Bible teacher. He and my great uncle absolutely devoured things like Revelation, Daniel, and Ezekiel. There are lots of good rescources that can help you understand them. Try Perry Stone @ Manna Fest or John Hagee. He has alot of prophecy stuff. I guess dif parts have been... See More difficult at different times. Its really been the prophets though. Esp. the minor ones and of course Lamentations and Ezekiel are so sad. They're very convicting.

Oh, and to all who find the begets hard try getting a bible program like Word Search. It will turn those dry names into something interesting. When you start seeing what they mean esp in connection to any stories they are referring to it makes it come alive more. In case anyones wondering yeah I like to read! =)
