OK, I was going to post something typically snarky, but this has me speechless - THIS is where your priorities are!?

You're using your position as the "official voice" of the cycling community to advocate for the frigging *google trike* while we're right in the middle of a hurricane-force shitstorm?

Is it possible to fire someone twice?... Read More

Make sure the door doesn't hit you on the way out.

And feel free to keep tweeting about my posts - the publicity is appreciated.

Dan, if the SRT wins the contest and the Google Trike captures the trail for use on Google Maps it could further expose the trail and potentially lead to more funding to complete it.

I don't necessarily disagree with this...it's just...that motorists texting and phoning seem like more of a public hazard than the fewer wee cyclists on the sidewalk etc and I wish there was more attention paid to that in the media and enforcement. That's all.

Enforcement in Philly on both sides of the issue is super lax. Until this changes it doesn't matter what the fines are for motorists or cyclists. The proposed fines are just plain criminal however.

There is never an excuse for running a red light I don't care what you are riding or driving. As a cyclist, riding on the sidewalk endangers yourself and others, if you don't feel safe riding in traffic get off the bike and walk.
