Special thanks to Jason Johnson for risking his life to take photos in the midst of flying knives, arms flailing and blind pumpkin lust. While it was more exhibition than competition the best of the best were judged as follows; 1st place Ted Terranova, 2nd place Brandon Blackwell, and 3rd place Sean Murray.

Big Huge Games is pleased to invite Art and Animation students from local colleges and universities to our Fall 2009 Art Open House. The event will be held on Thursday, November 5th from 6-9pm at our studio in Timonium, MD. Join us for a tour that includes free food and plenty of game art creation demos. On Saturday, July 11, Time.com published an article that investigated whether playing video games could help improve cognitive function, potentially slowing memory loss in older adults. Rise of Nations was cited as a game that necessitated multi-tasking, which could preserve mental fitness.

Big Huge Games Baltimore-based artists working in the visual entertainment fields of video games, comic books and illustration will exhibit their personal work in VS., a new gallery show at The Windup Space. An opening reception takes place Friday, June 5 from 7-9 p.m. Big Huge Artists featured in the event include Sean Andrew Murray, Colin Campbell, Jeremy Enecio, Martin Kau & Kat Berkley.
