Samantha Sauder I have been invlved with bs for 11 years now. i always believed that they were there to help littles improve their confidence and help them feel good about themselves. until now, my daughter is just 12 already she has had 2 big sisters quite on her after only a short time. this has only loweredher selfesteem. she n...ow believes that its something to do with her. i tell her all the time that its not but she doesnt believe me. she cries all the time now and seems depressed. she would have been better off never having been matched at all. how can i pick up the broken peices from this? and why should she have to either?

We are so sorry your daughter did not have a positive experience in our program. Our professional counselling staff do their utmost best to ensure that we make positive and compatible matches for all Little Sisters. While the average match in our program does last well beyond the one year mark, like all friendships in life, things do not always ... See Morework out as people’s life situations are not always predictable or under our control. We do wish you and your daughter the best, Samantha, and encourage you to call our office if you would like to discuss your daughter's situation with someone on our counselling team.
