Biltong Immergroen raises the standard of South African events in Europe!

The Immergroen Arts and Culture Festival, in Hertfordshire, near London, will take South African culture to a new level on the 17th, 18th and 19th of July 2009.

With names such as Bok van Blerk, Chris Chameleon, Karen Zoid, Ddisselblom, Zinkplaat and Klopj...ag, to name a few, already confirm to perform at the event, it is forecast to become the largest South African event in Europe.

The event will take place over two and a half days, kicking off with an exclusive concert on the Friday evening. A limited number of tickets will be available for this gig where 2 of the biggest South African names will be going “unplugged”.

The gates will open at 16:00 on Friday. (Camping available from 14:00). We will continue from 9:30 on the Saturday and there will be a huge array of attractions and stalls for you to enjoy, including live music, braaivleis and vetkoek, craft stalls, traditional arts, childrens area and a projector screening South African programs and ads. Events will draw to a close as the last of the live acts finish and the gates will reopen at 9:30 on the Sunday. At 10:30 there will be a short church service, immediately followed by the potjiekos competition. The live acts for the Sunday will commence at 12:00. The festivities will end at 18:00 on the Sunday.
