
Alabama Sports Hall of Fame & Museum ASHOF Inductees Dr. Ed Dyas and Woodrow Lowe were recognized by both Auburn University and the University of Alabama this season for their Induction into the College Football Hall of Fame

Alabama Sports Hall of Fame & Museum 18 teams from all over the state of Alabama came together at Ross Bridge Monday October 19th, 2009 for the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame Golf Championship.

Alabama Sports Hall of Fame & Museum The Alabama Sports Hall of Fame, the Birmingham Athletic Partnership, and the Bryant-Jordan Student-Athlete Scholarship Program enjoyed a night together at the Virginia-Samford Theatre for the opening night of “Bear Country”, the play of legendary football Coach Paul “Bear” Bryant by the Alabama Shakespeare Festival.

The format for the entire Championship will be a 4-Person Team Scramble with golfers 65 years old and older teeing off from the gold tees and ladies teeing off from the red tees. All other team members will play from the white tees. There will be prizes for the Low Gross and the Low Net Teams. Regional Qualifiers w...ill take place at eight RTJ Golf courses on October 5, 2009. Magnolia Grove will hold their qualifer on September 28, 2009.
The low gross and low net winners from each of the ten courses will come to Birmingham on Sunday, October 18, 2009 and attend a reception at the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame Museum with many Hall of Fame inductees. Then on Monday, October 19th, 2009 they will play the beautiful Ross Bridge course to determine the low gross and low net ASHOF State Golf Champions.
$600 per team
