Norma Beck What a wonderful place, many childhood and teen memories made here. What a showplace, just grand, and the piano coming up sticks in my mind along with the beauty of the Alabama theater.

Anita Heflin I remember mother would take us and drop us off for the Mickey Mouse Club.. the shorts previews and a great movie.. the organ coming up out of the floor just about blew us away... ((opps telling my age here I guess)) Anita Heflin Leeds al

Freda Wonderful memories of the Alabama theatre, as a child, going with my Mom to the Ladies Matinee show. Must have seen "where the Boys are" 100 times... Have been taking my girls to the Christmas movie at the Alabama for 20+ years. Love this place.

Kay Handley This is one of the good ole memories. I appreciate the people that are keeping up the tradition of the Alabama Theatre. I go every year to see GONE WITH THE WIND.

Lisa Yes, is it wonderful, I am transformed to 5 years old, holding my mother's hand and bending my neck looking up in wonderment.

Laura Dial Weldon My husband and I were lucky enough to get married in the Alabama Theatre 12 years ago. Makes it so special to go back and visit!

Angel Padgett Tubbs I have been to 3 concerts here: The Black Crowes, George Jones, and Alice Cooper. I love the place.

Lee Chaney I have wonderful memories of that theater. I remember saturday morning at the movies for 6 Royal Cola bottle caps. We rode the bus from Norwood to the theater and then went to Pete's Famous Hot Dogs on 2nd and 20th....wow I miss those days

Carol Malcolm Goss I have wonderful memories of the theater. I had the opportunity to play the organ once. I think I played Twinkle Twinkle Little Star! My Dad was an usher during the late 40's or early 50's. He and my mother spent many dates at the Alabama Theatre. Now with both of them gone I think of them every time I get the pleasure of going to the theater.

Jill Annette Roberts Yum, LOVE this place...so glad to find that you guys have a fan page!! Such rich history and obnoxious detail...hope to enjoy this festive atmosphere during Christmas!!

Keith Waters Seeing It's a Wonderful Life at the Alabama has become perhaps my favorite thing to do each year. I love taking the favorite women in my life!

Dana Michelle Sims My family and I used to go watch Gone With the Wind every year! Recently, I saw two good friends get married at the Alabama Theatre! Simply Wonderful!
