Josette, that's not even fully true, because Argos cheerleaders do not even have to have dance training! (I know someone who is a cheerleader.) And their outfits are just skimpy. (vs. Raptors cheerleaders-- their outfits show almost as much skin but are 'athletic.' Raptors cheerleaders actually need to know how to dance.)

I hate sports, for 2 main reasons: 1.) Both my father and my (now) ex-fiance at one point decided that football was much more important than me. 'Nuff said. 2.) In the state where I live (Nebraska) (*gag choke*) I learned that the domestic abuse rate goes up something ridiculous like 50-60% during NE football games. (Apparently that's when women are calling the domestic abuse hotlines the most.) So, sorry---sports have been tainted for me forever.

You know, all I saw was her supposed 'opening up' in Glamour (I believe it was) Magazine and she didn't say shit. I guess I wouldn't want to either after being brutally smashed in the face like that, though. But as far as 'speaking out to her fans' she did not say a thing, or what to watch out for (for young girls) or anything. She would have remained silent if her agent had not said: look, it's either you have a continuing career, or you can keep going out with this lunatic.

I enjoy her pointing out the obviously ridiculous laws surrounding marriage, but I can't help and feel that her satirical attitude is kind of lacking compassion toward transpeople. :/
