Black Rock Coalition A new report suggests that things are quite what they seem when it comes to listening habits. Is this story true? http://bit.ly/48pxxB

Nielsen has always had questionable sampling measures. The article didn't give exact numbers of those polled. I wouldn't put a great deal of stock in this report.

Black Rock Coalition Living Colour TORE IT UP during a sold out show at The Highline Ballroom. There was an amazing energy that was sent out by the band and by the audience. A nice mix of classic material and from the new CD, 'The Chair In The Doorway'. Incredible night.

Black Rock Coalition There were some great shows here in the NYC area last night. Living Colour played a sold out show at The Highline, Analogue Transit was at Bowery Electric, The Smyrk, Blk Vampires & Pillow Theory tore it out at The Delancey. For those who went to any of these shows or at the shows in your part of the country/world, what are your thoughts on the performances?

I tweeted during the Living Colour show. I've seen them countless times since the 80's before they were signed...But I have no problem saying Last night was probably the best LC show i've seen. Being on tour has tightened their show, & 2 years doing 'Superstar' has taken Corys vocal range to another level! He was hitting notes i'd NEVER heard him ... Read Morehit before (And I played in his band!). All 4 had their moments to shine! Calhouns drum solo was killin' but the visual effects were crazy! Doug's screaming solo in the crowd was unforgettable as well. I'm not a LC 'fanboy'! Yes..they are my friends, and I've always been a supporter... But fact is fact! Regardless of whether you like the new CD or not....You've got to see them NOW!
