I made a comment a day or so ago,. I mention how the "trolls" had incited the discussion of race. Actually it was race baitng set in reverse. They knew that you, we, us, would eventually turn it inwards. As evidenced. I am part of a very mixed family. Light to white, to red to brown to blue black. Some of the things sa...id here were offensive to all. No, this is not a Rodney King speach. But we do need to get along together as one.Read More

There are people who can walk away from you.
And hear me when I tell you this! When people can walk away from you...let them walk.
I don't want you to try to talk another person into staying with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you, staying attached to you. I mean hang up the phone.
When peop......le can walk away from you let them walk. Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left.
And it doesn't mean that they are a bad person it just means that their part in the story is over. And you've got to know when people's part in your story is over so that you don't keep trying to raise the dead.
You got to know when it's dead.Read MoreRead More

Black woman . . you are the light of the world. You are here to illuminate others not cast a dark shadow. To belittle another sista is to belittle yourself . . . to degrade another sista is to degrade yourslf . . . to hate on another sista is to hate on yourself.
Lift your sista and you lift yourself!!! Blessings.

Doris OMG! This is NOT good. We are Black queens . . spewing hateful words is NOT what we are about. We need one another . . so let us love & respect one another, inspire & encourage one another, bless & pray for one another . . . If we cannot say anything nice, perhaps it's best to say nothing at all. Maximum Love, Doris

Timothy Baldwin I believe it's safe to say that within the past 48 hours we've beaten some issues to death. We can't beat them anymore!......The interesting thing is, during all these battles, did anyone notice the racists (cross my fingers) have seemed to, at least for now, disappeared? No Scott! No Frost! No Harry!......that's positive!

Donna Boyle I will say whatever i feel for me theres no holding back if u cant accept it for what its worth then back off cos u are the one with a problem not me:)

Folks, we should place ourselves above the use of ANY racially or ethnically derogatory terminology in the course of discussions. People of principle may arrive at disagreements from time to time, even find themselves at loggerheads on the issues of the day, but there is NEVER a place in civilized discussion for words... like the "n" word or "half-breed" to be applied to opponents. Debate on the issues. Let us not lower ourselves to the level of slurs.Read More
