That was an idea that I had very early in the creative process, back in November of 2006. I never used it, because I couldn't figure out how it was going to be resolved. It took me a year to determine how that twist fit into the story, and ultimately it ends up shaping the entirety of the series. I can't wait till I can show you what happens. ;)

Blake Undying by Jason Cook
No, I've actually never seen it. What's it about? The name Blake has always been a personal favorite of mine, going back to old school british sci-fi show "Blake's 7". The name Carson, together with Blake makes the anagram "A Bleak Scorn" which pretty much sums up Blake's outlook on life and is also the name of his LiveJournal blog.

Thanks Joshua, I appreciate that a great deal. I've done a lot of writing over the years, and this idea in particular was a special one to me. I'm just glad that I'm not the only one who thinks so. It's a lot of fun to write, and I've got some very unusual things in store for Blake in the future.

I'm pleased to announce the Blake Unyding "Open Season" Contest! For those who aren't aware, in Chapter 8 of Blake Undying, Blake posts a million dollar reward for anyone who is able to kill him. The public came up with all manner of methods of death, pissing Blake off to no end...
Blake Undying by Jason Cook 97.1 currently. I don't know if I can maintain that for three weeks, but certainly going to try. We have a pretty good position going into the last days of the contest.

Thanks a lot Nick! The LiveJournal page is part of the Blake Undying "Alternate Reality Game". Its a neat little experiment I started with a number of months ago, and its filled in a lot of the spaces in the scripts. Glad you're enjoying it, and hope that you'll look around for the *other* ones. ;)

I wish Jon. You see less than a year ago, Blake Undying was just a script in a contest, and it was the first chosen among 14 others to be transformed into a comic. Now, those 15 comics are competing for a $15,000 grant to be turned into a screenplay. After that, who knows what will happen. I have scripts for about five years worth of comic, so if given the opportunity, I'd absolutely keep going with it.
For the time being, the only way to ensure that will happen is to tell all your friends to vote, and keep active on the Zeros 2 Heroes site. The more active you are, the more your vote will be worth.
Thanks for the encouragement Jon, glad to know the money I'm spending in advertising isn't going to waste! ;)

Click on that, and the window that comes up will have links at the top of the page that will allow you to either post a link to your profile, or send this page directly to your friends.
