Bliss are looking into organising a dad's challenge in June 2010. And we'd love some feedback from you our supporters. I've added some general information about the proposed event below. It would be great if you could get back to me by adding a comment to this post or sending me a message.
Proposal: A two day event nea...r Loch Ness in Scotland. Taking place over a weekend (Friday evening - Sunday afternoon).
The challenge: Day 1 - 40 mile hike. Day 2 - 30 mile cycle ride.
We're also looking at making this a family weekend, with other activites planned for children. And this event would not be exclusive to dads only, so ladies let us know if you'd be interested.

Can I ask everyone to sign this petition calling or more funding for neonatal services as recommended by the governments own task force.
Please forward this petition to as many people as you can.
Someone has to stand up for all those tiny lives.

Yesterday Bliss launched its 30th birthday baby report in Wales. We found that over 30 years 12 reports by the government, organisations and charities have recommended better services for premature and sick babies in Wales and yet not one has ever been fully implemented. The care of sick and premature babies in England will be governed by new standards set out in a report by an NHS taskforce.

Bliss The NHS Neonatal Taskforce Toolkit was launched on Wednesday by Ann Keen MP at Bliss' 30th birthday event. It is a set of principles to guide neonatal health teams to provide a world class service and is the best opportunity in 30 years to raise the neonatal standards. It's only a first step though and Bliss will be ke...eping a close eye on the government and NHS to make sure every single principle is put into practice

Today Bliss is launching its 30th birthday baby report: Three decades and counting. Jody Richardson We support Bliss because our premature daughter died just two hours after her birth and we don't want that to happen to any other family ever again. Sadly it still is happening to some families but Bliss are doing a fantastic job of trying to stop it. But to do that they need as much help as possible. I just wanted ...to say thanks to them and good luck to all who need their help right now and in the future.

Amy-Lara Griffiths Gloucestershire Bliss - SORRY BUT THE GROUP TOMORROW IS CANCELLED FOR PERSONAL REASONS. However, the group will be meeting again on 10th Novemeber at the Oaks Children Centre, Tuffley, Gloucester 11am-12:30.

Gloucestershire Bliss are looking at the possibility of relocating to Cheltenham in order to support more families throughout the county. However, in the meantime we are still meeting every fortnight in Gloucester & need more members to keep us running :-)
