Blood Type: Ragu

Blood Type: Ragu Saddened to hear about the passing of legendary singer Al Martino. He recorded so many hits and played Johnny Fontane in "The Godfather." I had the honor of performing "Blood Type: RAGU" as an opening act for one of his concerts. He was a gentleman who is now singing in heaven with the best.

Blood Type: Ragu

Blood Type: Ragu In "Blood Type: RAGU" there is a line at the end of the play when after a 29 year absence, Frank returns to Italy to heal and rediscover his culture and heritage. With great pride his Uncle says to him, "know where you come from." As we celebrate Columbus Day tomorrow, may we all embrace the stories of where we come from and use them as lessons to learn, live, laugh and grow.

Bob Gutowski I've known Frank since college, and his blood has always been suspiciously thick and delicious!

Noel McCarthy

Noel McCarthy Blood Type: RAGU is, hands down, one the best things to appear off-Broadway in many a year. If you haven't seen it yet, go; if you've already seen it, go again - and take a friend (or five). A splendid time is guaranteed for all.

Blood Type: Ragu

Blood Type: Ragu
Last April, Woodlands High School students studying Italian in Mrs. Vannucci's class came to see "Blood Type: RAGU" during its Off-Broadway run. As an artist-in-residence at the school, we adapted the "I Love Lucy" grapes episode into a story of an ambitious Italian student on an educational field trip that gets hersel...f into trouble. The script was filmed and shown on the Greenburgh public access channel. The residency ended with the students watching their instructor perform in a show about the Italian-American experience. A great example on how the arts can fuse with education.Read More
