A new Parent Support Group for individuals with Down syndrome forming in MuncieThe initial meeting is at 6:30pm tonight at Hillcroft, 114 Streeter Avenue, Muncie IN 47303.
The group is being formed in conjunction with
Hilcroft, VSA Arts of Indiana and Down Syndrome Indiana. Childcare is
being provided courtesy of Hillcro…ft and VSA in the form of music
therapy, art, etc.
Stephanie Glowner, Down Syndrome Indiana will be at the meeting tonight with more info about DSI. We'd
like to know what families, caregivers, therapists, etc. in Muncie and
the surrounding areas would like to see in this type of a group.
Anyone interested can email me at slaterjomc@gmail.com.
Also, please contact me if you are not able to attend the meeting this
evening but would like more information about the group.

I posted the Tuesday meetings on the Events Calendar through December 15 and I also posted the Special Needs Children Playgroup in the Family Information & Resources Section, Parenting & Families as a resource for Marion County.
