Last Friday, the Court’s Executive Committee authorized approximately a dozen new juvenile probation officer positions to start employment on or about January 1, 2010. Openings are full JPO positions with starting salary approximately $29,000 including full county benefits. Positions work 24/7 shifts with runaway youth and low level offending delinquents at the Juvenile Court complex at 25th and Keystone. County residence is required within 6 months of employment.
