Mardi Cole Just watched Blue Gold on DVD thru my Netflix membership. Very impressed. Our family estate sits on several underground spring-fed water sources used by the property. My deceased father always stressed upon us how important water was to our very existence and as far back as I can remember hinted he believed water wo...uld, in the future, become a commodity more precious than gold, so this really hit home.

Trisha My husband and I just watched the movie and are asking everyone we know to see it. Wonderfully done! We want to know if there are any organizations in the US that are digging those "holes" in the ground to "trick" the water into staying put. We want to help!

Andrés Lizardo POR FAVOR! SUBTITULOS A ESPAÑOL PARA DIFUNDIR, EL PROBLEMA Y LA SOLUCIÓN ES GLOBAL!

Jessica Gonzalez Watched the movie last night...Very Enlightening and knowledgable movie! Definitly worth educating fellow peers! Thank You!!!

Blue Gold: World Water Wars Nice viewer review at Netflix "On par with An Inconvenient Truth, this film did not pummel the viewer with feverish activism, rather offer an intelligent debate about the current state of the globalization of water. This documentary did an excellent job of taking valid but veiled swipes at the megaconglomerates of wate...r as well as rendering scathing assessments of the World Trade Organization and the World Bank. It was fearless is asking the question that was everyone mind: why is a nation, any nation, so rich in natural resources, so desperately poor and desperately in debt? We know now that they are having their most precious resource, water privatized by corporations to offset their debt. The solutions brought forth are practical and inexpensive, which is, unfortunately why they will be ignored."

Lauren Reynders It is so frustrating watching our politicians and policy makers in South Africa be so swayed and beddazzled by everything first world and all that multi-national corporations have to offer - Desalination plants, nuclear power plants, GM seed, Petro-chemicals, Fast Food - all at the expense of our beautifull country, fe...rtile soils and people, the majority who live in poverty.

Christina M Flores Tyson A Movie that people should really see .. this is not a one sided political film or a dark cloud .. This film has evoked an inspiration inside of me to bring awareness to others & educate myself.. This documentary has changed how I see water..
