Blue Gold now available on Netflix Play Instantly streaming. http://www.netflix.com/Movie/Blue_Gold_World_Water_Wars/70113047?trkid=222336&strkid=67830795_0_0&strackid=c1e47c00ff34e1e_0_srl

Unfortunately, there is a bug with Netflix that Blue Gold is not in their searchable catalog, meaning new audiences browsing docum...entaries will not see it, nor with Netflix's recommendations pull it from their database.

PBS and I have tried repeatedly to contact Netflix about this to no avail. If you are a Netflix subscriber, PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO WRITE A COMPLAINT LETTER TO NETFLIX to add Blue Gold to their searchable catalog so people can find it while browsing.

Without this, Blue Gold will not receive a wide audience as people must search specifically for the film title to find the film.

I would speculate Coke, Vivendi, or other corps in the film are paying Netflix to keep it out of the catalog, but honestly I don't think Netflix would bother distributing it if that were the case. So please do send complaints to them if you are a Netflix user. Thanks!

Jennifer Long

Jennifer Long I just saw this film last night at Grossmont College in San Diego for Political Economy week. The film was shown and there was lively discussion. Truly shocking. Thank you for all your work.

ToNight South African review: "I usually shy away from these films as the mix of sanctimony, righteous indignation and prompting to get off my couch makes me feel quite weary, but... the film doesn't lecture, it engages.. the film dramatically and persuasively outlines the crisis facing the world. Stirring stuff that h...as provoked a response even in an apathetic git like me." http://tonight.co.za/index.php?fArticleId=5208641&fSectionId=3905&fSetId=251Read More

I have seen this documentary once, bought it and have seen it about 30 times now. It is something everyone should watch, because it is about something WE ALL NEED TO SURVIVE!!! Water is the most precious resource we have and it is being destroyed and controlled so a few corporations can get rich!

Alright people... I need your help. I am trying to convince my wife that we need to not order our water from Arkansas (Mountain Valley Spring Water). However, she's focused on our health and wants to ensure that we can switch to something else (be it filtered system or something) that will yield good clean healthy wa...ter. Help me out here... what's a good alternative?! Remember, she has rather high standards... Pur and Brita filters need not apply... HELP!!Read More

Hey Peter, Ever consider a filtered pitcher? http://www.brita.com/us/ I've liked it so far, and it's clearly 1000x cheaper than buying and of course helps remove the consumer demand on giant corps sucking the land dry.

While I think it's fine, my wife thinks it's not good enough... :( I need something that is "scientifically proven" to be the best or something like that... :(

This film is riveting and reveals a glimpse of what our future will look like when we no longer have access to water the way we are accustomed to here in the states now. Water is being privatized and it's happening without any US MSM reporting, per usual....why? Because they are all corporate shills.

We were lucky to be able to screen early cuts of Blue Gold at Countryside Church in Palatine. The entire board of water commissioners of a nearby suburb came to the second showing. Thumbs up!

Congratulations.
This was a great movie in explaining a lot of complex issues including how we are importing 'water' from 3rd world countries. I asked someone from the Chicago Metropolitan Water District about this and they did not know about the issues.

I am glad to see further distribution of this movie that everyone should see.
