BoPoMoFo Blues Our second trip to Taichung last week (as reported on the BoPoMoFoㄅㄆㄇㄈ樂團 goup page) was kind of Rod Sterling-like, though. We were the opening band for a Beijing Opera Performance at the Fine Arts Museum. An odd pairing, that. Talk about a polite, reserved audience... Then we hi-tailed it back to Taipei to throw down ...some in-yer-face Blues at Roxy Roots for a jump up and git wit' it crowd of Blues lovers.
BoPoMoFo Blues Had a great time playing at the Taichung Jazz Fest. There must have been more than a thousand folks there on a Wednesday night clapping, dancing, singing and getting down to the Blues. Hallelujah!
BoPoMoFo Blues ㄅㄆㄇㄈ樂團 (BoPoMoFo) is playing the Taichung Jazz Festival on Oct 21, this Wednesday night, at 8:00pm on stage J-1. We hope to see everybody dancing to the music.

Joey will be performing at the Alley Cat's at the HuaShan Music district in Taipei on Tuesday night and at the LiBai Lounge at the Far Eastern Hotel (6th Floor) on An-Ho Road near Hoping in Taipei on Wed and Thurs. Don't ...miss the chance to hear 'the Real Deal' - Joey as is as true Blues as it gets.

BoPoMoFo Blues and the Muddy Basin Ramblers will be hosting a benefit performance on Friday at Capone's for the victims of the 8-8 typhoon and floods. All donations will go directly to the victims. Capone's will also donate a portion of the bar proceeds so here's your chance to drink like a fish for a good cause.
