The Lynn University Education Abroad Office will post information that you need to know and want to know about study abroad, events on campus, and other useful information related to international education.

How to Get Started

Steps to Study Abroad: 1. Attend a Study Abroad Info Session
When: Tuesdays at 11:30am
Wednesdays at 3:00pm
Thursdays at 2:00pm
Where: The Study Abroad Office, 2nd Floor of the International Center
Why: The Info Session will go over the basics of study abroad, the options that are available to you, tips on how to chose a program, and an overview of the application process. All students must attend an Info Session before applying to study abroad. Info Sessions last about 30 minutes.
2. Meet with a Study Abroad Advisor – to discuss your Study Abroad Plan
3. Submit an application by the LU deadline – for Spring 09 semester programs the deadline is October 24, 2008.
4. Meet with your Faculty Advisor to obtain course approvals
5. Meet with your financial aid advisor (if you plan on using financial aid)
6. Attend the Pre-Departure Orientation Session
