Rates pr day Rent a tent with matrazes: 6.000 TSH Own tent: 4.000 TSH Food (organic) at Bongo Camping Chicken + Rice 3.000 TSH Vegetables + Rice 2.000 TSH. Chips 1.000 TSH. And several local food. 1000 tsh = ca. 1 dollar

Something to remember...

Down to earth and pleasant natured people. The local experience that can be difficult to find on the regular backpacking cirquit in Tanzania is very present in and around kibisi village and Bongo Camping. The facilities are first grade and there are multiple opportunities for experiencing wonderful sights & experiences close by. Be carefull though, avocados can drop anytime from the trees on the camping site ;o)

If one is looking for the local spirit of Tanzania, Bongo Camping in Kibisi Village is the place to go. Open hearted and minded people greeting you with smiles. Wonderful green surroundings with mountains and waterfalls close by and lots of possibilities to explore. A great chance to get off the beaten track and experience a different side of Tanzania.
