Book Passage Travel Writers & Photographers Conference
Aysha Griffin I had such fun, met some of my travel writing heroes and heroines, established friendships and was enormously inspired by attending the 2007 conference. The freely-shared ideas and support received at the conference gave me the confidence to reengage in my travel lust, using travel writing to garner several awarded trips abroard; adding a new, welcomed dimension to my life. I hope to attend 2009 and continue pursuing and sharing my joy and delight in travel writing and photography. Thank you Don, Rolf, Jen, Michael, Larry and the rest of the faculty and Book Passages staff for making this an extraordinary event!

Travel Writer Conference participants -- suite to share if anyone is making last minute plans.
I have a suite booked at the Embassy Suites hotel in San Rafael and a rental car for to/from. The friend who was going to join me has had to cancel, if any woman would like to share -- I booked on Priceline for $80/night plus tax back in January. Car is about $20/day. Booked for Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights.
