This Friday Reno gears up to host the first ever international canned beer competition, appropriately named CANFEST, the competition hosts more than 25 breweries including AVBC.
Proceeds from the event will benefit The Nature Conservancy and The Great Basin Bird Observatory.

From 7 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, is the 20th annual Foam Fest, a fundraiser for Disabled Sports USA Far West. The festival will be held at the Tahoe Biltmore in Crystal Bay, Nev. This year's event will feature microbrew tasting from over 40 breweries, live music by Momentum, appetizers, the famous Hit the Slopes... raffle and a gathering of friends getting together to support a great local cause. There will be discounts for designated drivers as well as discounts for lodging at the Biltmore. For tickets and further information call (530) 581-4161.
