Welcome to "The Battle of Comm Ave" Facebook Page!
When BOSTON UNIVERSITY fielded its first hockey team in the 1917-1918 season, it debuted against BOSTON COLLEGE. While BC won that first meeting of future college hockey powers, it marked the beginning of a sizzling rivalry that Sports Illustrated has called the best rivalry in the country. "The Battle of Comm Ave” chronicles the historic 91-year tussle between two of college hockey’s perennial powers. The two schools have combined to win the last two NCAA National Championships (BU in 2009, BC in 2008) and feature two of the winningest coaches in college hockey history.
