The Holiday Open House at Country Village was today, and boy - we were slammed all day! We're STILL putting Christmas out as fast as we can, so even if you've been in recently, don't forget to come back!On "Black Friday" we'll be opening at 8am, along with many other shops in Country Village...

The Weed Patch Ah...nice to be home Monday and Tuesday of this week. Time to spend with toddler Ben, but also finally getting a lot of our Christmas goodies added online during naptime (Ben's, not mine - that would be a feat, wouldn't it?). Work isn't work so much when you are having fun...!
The Weed Patch CHRISTMASFEST 2009 is coming up this next weekend! It's our official Christmas release party, with the store decked out and all our Christmas out! Come in on Saturday between 5:30pm and 8pm and shop by twinklelight! We're aiming for some live music, as well as homemade treats, and even some specials and deals! C'mon in!

When I was growing up, one of my favorite fall treats was Grandma's Pumpkin Bars. Interestingly enough, it was pretty much the only pumpkin I liked growing up... of course, that's changed now - Janene cooks some of the most delicious roasted pumpkins EVER...
