Now that the Senate has reached agreement on an extension of the first time home buyer tax credit, it's much more likely to move forward. Details are still fuzzy and likely to change, but here's where it stands.

According to Zillow, Boulder home values increased 4.1% in 2Q09. Nationwide, the same index is showing a 12.1% decline. Sounds like good news, if you believe it.

Reacting to slow sales, the latest price drop was massive. The average asking price decreased $114,227. One particular unit dropped over $250,000. Asking prices now range from $230,000 to $600,000, compared with $350,000 to $950,000 when the development first opened.
