Add in four Tampa Bay Buccaneers, four cheerleaders and the fabled mascot, Captain Fear and you had a special, fun event where the children at the West Tampa Boys and Girls Club learned how to LIVE UNITED through the United Way-NFL annual partnership, Hometown Huddle.

Mitzi Kremer-Tighe from Athletes for Hope visited the Bill Carey Brandon Boys & Girls Club on Friday, September 11 in Remembrance of 9/11. Mrs. Kremer-Tighe was a bronze medalist in the 4x100 freestyle relay in the 1988 Seoul, Korea Olympics. She talked to the children about the heroes of 9/11. She spoke to the childre...n about how others helped her succeed and how important it is for children to volunteer and help others.Read More
Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay Fifteen kids from the Zonta and North Tampa BGC attended Camp Old Navy at the Old Navy Store in University Mall. They had the opportunity to shadow the staff, learn Old navy policies, work the register, work the fitting room and fold and display their products on show room floor.
