I spent a few days at the Mossy Hammock primitive camp site in Myakka River State Park. It's always great to get out and live minimally to come home and appreciate what you have. Especially running water.

That is an adult Yellow Crowned Night Heron. If you scroll a little farther down on this page you will see a juvenile one that another fan posted.

Linda Had these guys in my yard this a.m.. See them around a few times a month going from yard to yard. Guess they're eating bugs. Name, I don't know....Larry?

White Ibises (plural) White Ibis (singular). The brown one in the bunch is a juvenile, it will eventually become white.

Linda This little possum has been taking occupancy in my tree for about a week now. Not a great picture but wanted to share. It's nice to see them alive once in awhile.

That's awesome!!! I had one on my grill one time licking off the left over grease after it cooled off. Imagine my surprise when I waled out the door and saw it. :-)

My Florida Wildlife Paid a visit to Myakka River State Park on Saturday and saw the following: deer, wild boar, bald eagles, great blue herons, alligators, egrets, royal terns, osprey, sanderlings, greater yellow legs, and tons of bird watchers. LOL
