This morning began the phone calls and appointments. My Mom is a fighter and does not want to wait until she sees the surgeon on October 26th to get her tests started. We woke up early and after getting Samantha off to school, began to gear up for action in her fight against cancer.

This past Friday, my Mom went for a biopsy of a axillary lymph node that was caught on her recent mammogram and subsequent ultrasound. We were confused by where it was located and what it meant, but of course followed the doctor's orders.

My cell phone is always with me no matter where I go. I may turn the ringer on silent, but it's there like a security blanket. Since it's become another one of my accessories, I like to add cell phone gadgets to make it look nicer and more fun too. If it can stand out, even better.
