The Bubble Music Man

5/6/09 - Bubbles CAN make a difference for homeless children! Rob Peters, the Bubble Music Man can prove it!

Last year, Peters, who performs a children's entertainment program as The Bubble Music Man, was contracted by Bright Horizons at Reebok in Canton, Massachusetts to perform for a "Walk On", benefitting the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children. During that performance, he pledged that for every Bright Horizons location that booked his Bubble Party services, or anyone at the "Walk On" who booked entertainment services through Rob Peters Entertainment, a donation would be made to the foundation.

"This was our way to give something back." says Peters. "With this pledge, we were very surprised with the response we received."

Last week, at a regional meeting of Bright Horizons Center Directors and Regional Managers, Peters presented a check to the Foundation for $500, and renewed the pledge to continue donating for every booking from a Bright Horizons location or referral.

"In these tough economic times where everyone is watching their bottom line, we're pleased that we can help make a difference. As the Bubble Music Man, I bring smiles to children's faces during the show. Now I know that I can help bring smiles to the faces of children and families who need it most, even after the show is over. "

The Bright Horizons Foundation for Children is a nonprofit organization focused on brightening the lives of children, youth, and families in crisis. The Foundation believes that we can make the world a better place by engaging Bright Horizons’ employees, clients, families, friends, and community partners, and their passion for meeting the needs of all children.
