Catherine Moriarty Kuehl I have had Ms for years and now I was told by my I also have RA. I got my H1N1 shot and had to sign a waver, because they told me it can affect my MS. This makes me wonder what is in this shot? Also what can happen..

That sound kinda silly. I have both MS and RA and my rheumatologist insisted that I get the H1N1 shot. I did get it because I take immune-suppressing drugs for the RA. It doesn't have anything to do with the MS and didn't affect my MS at all.

How are you feeling since the shot? I had been sick beforehand and it did seem to reactivate the bronchitis I had had. But I'm finally feeling much better now. Yeah!!

My Doctor told me that people with MS can have a flare up from the H1N1 shot and it can also give you MS which is very rare. I got a very bad cold now and sore throat with chills. I was feeling not to bad before the shot.I'm glad you are feeling better now. Take Care
