Brent & Nick Are Adopting are still in Portland through the weekend, waiting for paperwork to get filed. Baby and Daddies are doing fine, but anxious to get home... hopefully Monday or Tuesday at the latest!

Brent & Nick Are Adopting SURPRISE!!! The baby was born at 3:53am this morning! 3 weeks early, but a healthy 6lbs, 19inches. We're flying out this afternoon, and will update when we have more "official" news. In the meantime, please pray, chant, do a jig, hug a tree, eat a pie... whatever you can to send good vibes our way so that we can bring our son home as soon as possible!
Brent & Nick Are Adopting had brunch with Jeff and Mark, a couple of new dads. Thanks for all the great advice and letting us meet Jack! Off to Portland next week for one last pre-birth visit!
Brent & Nick Are Adopting ...headed back to Portland for another visit with birth parents, scoping out the birth hospital, pediatrician's office and other places—and hopefully a doctor's visit. We might even have an ultrasound pic to bring home with us!

Brent & Nick Are Adopting The Ultrasound was finally done this week—it’s a boy! We had a pediatrician in Portland review the U/S results and she confirmed that the baby appears to be healthy on all counts, and the due date is December 3! We've been talking to the birth mom and dad weekly and will make plans to visit Portland again soon.
