March 20th, Friday, Dancing into Spring Trance Dance with Jeanne, 7-9pm, $20.
Come and participate in birthing in the new in your life through trance dancing! What seeds will you plant for blooming you? Trance dance was used as a form of healing thousands of years ago among our ancestors. The dance is a moving medita...tion where you connect with the spirit within. In the dance you wear a bandana over your eyes, which alters your perceptions and helps you see from the inside out. There are no steps to learn. You just allow spirit to move your body and share it's wisdom with you. All participants are blindfolded so no one can see you. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a bandana if you have one. If you have severe heart problems or seizures, trance dancing is not advised.
