Roger Williams University Career Center Summer Internships in Washington DC Institute on Philanthropy & Voluntary Service (IPVS) is a summer academic internship program held in Washington, D.C. for undergraduate students interested in volunteerism and careers in the nonprofit sector. A special scholarship consideration will be given to students attending Ca...mpus Compact institutions. Please indicate that you are a RWU Rhode Island Campus Compact member on your resume and in your application in order to qualify for the scholarship. The Institute will be held in June & July, 2010. Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis until March 5, 2010. Students who complete their application by the early deadline of December 4, 2009 will receive a 5% tuition discount and priority internship placement. Roger Williams University Career Center The Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program (NREIP) is a ten week summer research opportunity for undergraduate Juniors & Seniors, and Graduate students, under the guidance of a mentor, at a participating Navy Laboratory (list of participating universities is available at http://www.asee.org/nreip). The stipend am...ounts for the program are $7500 for undergraduate students and $10,000 for graduate students. U.S. citizenship required; Permanent residents accepted at certain labs.

The online application is currently open at www.asee.org/nreip and must be completed by January 8, 2010. All accompanying documents (official transcripts and reference letters) are due by January 11, 2010.
