3rd Ward is on the search for the best painting, drawing, print-making and works on paper! Our last Group Show open call culminated in an opening reception for The Best Emerging Photographers which drew over 300 art revelers. Now we're at it again and even more people will win!

This year's craft fair will be our biggest yet! We’ll have two floors full of goods & treats from over 120 local artisans, craft mavens & culinary masters. Plus live music..., tasty treats, delicious drinks, a surprise holiday photobooth and free workshops & demos. The first 300 guests to arrive will receive free totebags full of special gifts from our vendors specially designed by acclaimed illustrator Fernanda Cohen.
The Handmade Holiday Craft Fair has something for everyone, including your pets. Items include:
Custom cut clothes & jewelry, clocks and electronics, bathing suits and lingerie, baby clothes and toys, furniture & vintage ware, cookies, chocolates & cheese, wrapping paper & cards, pillows & soaps, hats, scarves, gloves and more!

"Here DC is doing what he/she does best, having fun. Is there a larger metaphor at work? Is this work social commentary? Is it about our unsustainable food industry? Does it speak of the lust, avarice and greed with which we have squandered our human potential? Does this work point to a larger method of subtle control put into play by those who stand to gain from it's practice? Do you need something that heavy attached to it to enjoy it and have a good time? Maybe it is about whimsy, the idea that something can affect you on a base level. You can laugh and dance and play, without looking for meaning, like when you hear a good song...Maybe it's about none of those things.
