My family and I love the Brooklyn Public Library and Manhattan Public Library, and sincerely hope that further cuts to library aid will not occur.

My husband reserves hard-to-find and newly released nonfiction books and has them sent to the branch closest to his office in Manhattan. He walks in, and the librarians greet him by name and hand him ... Read Morehis reserved books.

During the Brooklyn Public Library's summer reading program this year, my 2 children (now in 2nd and 5th grades) read and recorded over 100 books each. We visit the library at least once a week, taking out at least 10 books at a time -- so we need variety, and new books, and no more budget cuts!
