There's a lot of real hip hop in Providence. Yall have a shining star in Sage Francis. He's blazed a lot of trails and opened a lot of doors. Watch for B.Dolan as well. I'll be through RI this fall though.

Wa alaikum as salaam! Joell Is one of my favorite MC's right now. Has been for a while. It's ill cause he actually reached out to me to do an acapella on his album when he was on Aftermath. He ended up asking to be released from that label but he just kept pumping out these incredible songs. I've followed him ever since then (for a few years). Asked him to be on my new album and he sent his verse right over. Really good dude and amazing MC. I'm proud to know him.

Aint that the truth! I actually saw his video 'Good Lord' on MTV today and it kinda made me sick to see him on mainstream, but I was also happy so that others can hear and appreciate his words.
