From 1996 - 2006, he held a number of key positions including: Senior VP & GM Products, Senior VP and GM On Demand & SMB, Senior VP Marketing and Alliances. The Siebel Alliance Program was recognized by Forbes and IDC as the most successful partnering program in the high-tech industry.

Bruce was head of the Open Systems business unit and responsible for driving Apple's PowerOpen, A/UX, Taligent and OpenDoc engineering and product management efforts. In addition, he managed relationships between Apple and its key partners including HP, IBM, Novell, the OMG, Taligent and represented Apple's investment in Component Integration Laboratories (CI Labs) as President.
