Benjamin Okay --- so maybe this isn't about the weather --- but it's still a rare occurence... Palindrome Day (01/02/2010) [read the same backwards] --- BTW, the last two occurences of Palindrome Day were on 10/02/2001, and 08/31/1380

Bryan Busby KMBC Staying in the deep freeze. Snow later. Up to 2 new inches ontop of the jagged icy mounds. No thaw in sight. Next 7 days keep us below freezing. Another chance for snow Sunday & Tuesday. Lighter amounts in both cases. More on KMBC 2nite @ 5 6 and 10.

Applause to those businesses that have done a good job desnowing and deicing their properties. Boo hiss to those who haven't, including the Westport post office who cleared the snow from their parking lot but piled it up along the curb so we need to climb over the icy mass and then onto a sidwalk full of icy patches. Friend and I helped two elderly women navigate the trecherous mess today so they wouldn't fall and get seriously hurt.

Bryan Busby KMBC Happy New Year! Very chilly stuff setting in for the next 7 plus days. Small snow chances 2day and again SUN. Not much additional accums. These are squat little systems with limited power. Temps will not escape the teens when the sun is out. Near or below zero at nite. More on KMBC 2nite. Stay warm.

Question --- I saw that New Delhi got to see a partial eclipse of the blue moon; how often does a Total Eclipse of a Blue Moon on New Year's Eve occur?

Agreed, I love the snow.Big flakes and only a few inches, like two or 3.It would not be winter with out it.
Our grounds get too dry here, at least the Spring I have better luck with my pumpkin patch.

Donna I fanned this page months ago, but recently have not gotten any posts from you. During the Xmas blizzard...I got nothing. I thought maybe I was "unfanned" (FB issue) but I wasn't, so not sure why I am not getting your updates. I got more updates from a friend who is a weatherman in OKC than I got from KC.

Hey Donna. I cannot answer that one. I was cranking the updates out pretty frequently. I also update around 9am daily. Are you seeing any of the past history posts?

No, I don't get any of your status updates in my feed. I guess I'll just need to check your wall if I have questions about the weather. :-)

Christina Glin Why do all your post post twice?

Hey Christina: One is from Bryan Busby and one is from the fan page Bryan Busby KMBC. I can image this would be tiresome. But I would suggest that you drop the friend page, and just follow the fan page. The info is the same on both, so you will be in the loop either way.

Bryan Busby KMBC Clouds are already streaming in ahead of the next snow system. That was our saving grace from getting too cold this morning. Snow will crank up later tonight and will move through WED. A quick couple of inches is possible with this smaller system. And unlike its big brother on Christmas, this one will not hang around for four days.

Bryan Busby KMBC Sometimes, I love people. :) A lady came up to me while gassing up my SUV to tell me that she didn't hear me talk about the big snow until it was right on top of us! Really? Seriously? That is one great thing about Facebook. I scrolled back to see when I was first mentioning a Christmas eve/Christmas Day storm: A good ...week before hand! Thank God for on-line time stamps.
