Friends of the Night People In October Friends of Night People celebrated 40 Years serving the poor, homeless, and destitute of Buffalo, NY. The organization also announced our partnership to begin providng meals to be served at the Matt Urban Hope Center on the East Side of Buffalo at Polonia Hall. The first meal is planned for November 18th. 5,034 meals were served during October.
Friends of the Night People Today, Friends of Night People opened our 2nd floor clothing room for the first time! 17 people came and took over 80 items of clothing. This is going to be terrific, but we will need more donations. Please spread the word and organize a winter clothing drive to benefit FONP!
Friends of the Night People It's hard to belive that it's already September. July and August were very busy months. 9,857 meals were seved. 385 meals were served to children, 863 to seniors, and 8,609 to adults . Sadly the most noticable increase was the number of young adults appearing between the ages of 18 and 25. I'm afraid this is just ...another evident sign of the difficult economic times for young people in WNY.
Friends of the Night People Duiring May and June 8,786 meals were served to our friends in need. Coming up on July 17th is Project Homeless Connect Buffalo. This is an all day event from 10AM to 6PM at the Buffalo Convention Center. Friends of Night People is looking for voluntee
Friends of the Night People In April, 4,267 meals were served to those less fortunate. And, 39 new clients arrived for the first time seeking help. We are in need of mens seasonal clothing including shorts, t-shirts, sneaker, and socks.
