Burlington Press Just in case our employees had a little trouble getting started this morning, we decided to load them up with sugar.
Burlington Press ll 5 of our employees finished the Burlington River Run. While no one won any medals, everyone finished with style and grace. Rich and George did prove that a regular running routine does give an older guy the advantage over an untrained youngster. Both of them beat young Geoff to the finish line. Everyone enjoyed this... race so much that we will be running another 5K together over the Thanksgiving holiday.
Rich Lewis I'm very proud of our staff for participating in the Burlington River Run. Not that we are competing with each other but our 20 something and youngest member of the staff, Geoff, mentioned that all us old people shouldn't be able to beat him in this race. As the oldest employee here I guess I'm going to have to prove him wrong.
Burlington Press Tomorrow is the 8th Annual Doane Academy River Run/Walk, and Burlington Press will be well represented by 5 members of our staff. The 5K event kicks off at 9am, with all proceeds benefitting the Rotary Club of Burlington and the Doane Academy 9/11 Community Service Project.
