Michael All the rumors are true!! Three of us went to Mt. Washington in search of the currently elusive NE ice. It was a warm day and the forcasts did not favor anything resembling ice conditions. Never the less we decided that at the very least it would be a great hike to the top. The weather was PERFECT. Blue sky and ...clear. We could not have ordered better weather off of a menu! Not a hint of ice and snow anywhere except for some shaded areas. Great hike even with the looks of confusion from other hikers as all three of us were in mountaineering boots and had ice tools on our packs. Keep an eye out for some pics coming soon!!!
