On July 18, 2009 BWB Detroit joined BWB groups around the globe to fund raise for the cause in each city.

For a few hours Tuesday, there was respite from gloomy times as volunteers came together to provide food, Christmas gifts and cheer to needy children and their families who are struggling this holiday season. Keturah Davis of Detroit was among the grateful recipients.

Volunteers make Santa's job easier; Cass Community Social Services' Christmas Store opened for business, allowing more than 200 needy parents from across Metro Detroit to prepare for Christmas!! THIS PLACE IS SO WONDERFUL!
