IN THE CITY is an annual music festival which was started by (the late) Anthony Wilson's FACTORY RECORDS in Manchester. Since then it has taken place in Dublin, Liverpool, Glasgow and New York as well as Manchester. ALL the music industry people attend the event.
ITC is the world’s premier unsigned music event? Probably....

A bold statement, but a true one: over fifteen years, In The City has seen now-legendary gigs by Oasis (Manchester Town Hall - 1992), The Chemical Brothers (Jabez Clegg, Manchester - 1995), Daft Punk (Aboard the Fitzcarraldo, Dublin - 1996), Coldplay (Cuba Café, Manchester - 1997), The Darkness (The Kings Arms, Salford, Manchester - 2002) and Nine Black Alps / Arctic Monkeys (Manchester Academy - 2005)

This is going to be a great night! The Seahorses were a great band - John Squire then left - and the remaining band regrouped and are now The Yards.
The gig is also going to be filmed for a programme on Granada TV so, if you wanna be on the telly then you need to be there!
We're supporting the Yards on this one, and the...re's also a band opening for us so three bands - can't be bad!
