Busted Moms

I am a mom of 5 children, 3 live at home still with the 4th one thinking of coming back home. Due to loss of both our jobs and wiping out our bank account, we have lost our home and we are lving in a camper. Its frustrating, we dont even have hot water (we have to boil it to cook) and we have to go to a bath house for ...showers. I have been doing pretty good, but taking care of anything "beauty" is not on our list right now of things we "need" My husband got another job, but gas,food and toiletries are all we can afford. I am a young mother (22 years old) of two beautiful kids, 4 and 2 1/2, I am a full time student and full time worker, also a mother and a wife. I hardly have anytime for myself and being the economy being the way it is, i can't afford to stop working and dedicate myself solely to my kids and school, i've been working ...so hard and I feel like I finally need something for myself, something to reward me for all my hard work. I'm hitting the end of the semester and the school word load seems to get heavier and heavier and i seem to have less time for myself , much less to treat myself in any way and whatever money I earn goes to help my husband with the bills and for childcare and my kid's needs. I really feel like a deserve this mom makeover. I would love to get my nails done, get my hair done, and enjoy a massage.....I don't even remember the last time I got my nails done. I am a single mom of 2 beautiful girls. They are my everything and I have raised them on my own since they were 1 and 5. We are very close and though we never had much we have always been happy. Now my oldest daughter who is a biology major in college is getting married. Unfortunately I was laid off and have taken a n...ew job but am making just over minimum wage. Do to recent weight loss (Stress is a great hunger killer) I have very little that fits me properly and what I do have is getting worn. My home and I could both really use a makeover! As a divorced mom of 2 with a very demanding job, I can rarely justify shopping for myself. There's ALWAYS something my (rapidly) growing childen need or want. Especially my 13 y.o. daughter. And my home has definitely NOT gotten the maintenance or repairs it has needed... in the 8 yrs we've lived in it - due to no free time, the aforementioned financially draining (but wonderful) children and zero "know how". Winning this contest would mean I could whip both myself and my home into shape. Needless to say I would probably cry to find out I won. But in a good way. As a first-time mom to an energetic 2-year old working full time outside the home, I've learned to put myself 3rd after my daughter and my husband, so my wardrobe, and overall appearance, while not bad, is probably seriously lacking. All my pants have become too tight, my selection of shirts is small and I would love t...o be able to dress like the somewhat successful working mom that I am (at least that I'd like to appear to be). I don't have time to fuss with too much makeup or attention to my hair style, so most times I forget to put on makeup and sometimes even rush out the door without brushing my hair! It's somewhat embarrassing and not exactly the picture I like giving my co-workers. I need a makeover. I want my daughter to be proud of her mommy for working hard and looking good doing it. My husband is a self employed Jazz musician and I work outside of the home. I think I should have a mommy makeover 1. I just joined weight watchers... at work to get rid of 5 years of excess fat 2. I haven't bought myself much of anything in quite some time 3. I really need to extra help to be fashionable in the industry that I work in.
